The acquisition of scite further enhances Research Solutions' product offerings and provides cross-selling opportunities to scite's consistently growing B2C customer base of approximately 21,000 active subscribers, as well as its diverse B2B customer base of corporate entities, leading academic institutions, and government agencies.
As of October 31, 2023, the annualized value of scite's B2C and B2B software subscriptions, some of which are monthly and some annual, is $3.6 million.

New Omap lancia Nebes: l’intelligenza artificiale che...
Padova, 14 maggio 2024 - Gestire e monitorare le prestazioni energetiche di macchine aziendali tramite algoritmi AI per ridurre l’impatto ambientale. È questo l’obiettivo di New Omap, il gruppo padovano specializzato nella progettazione di sistemi ausiliari per il trattamento e il dosaggio delle materie plastiche, che ha sviluppato Nebes, un progetto di ricerca sperimentale che ha ottenuto un cofinanziamento di 200mila euro nell’ambito del Bando IRISS promosso da SMACT Competence Center.
Il progetto è sviluppato in collaborazione con i Dipartimenti di Ingegneria e Scienze dell'Informazione dell’Università di Trento e con Ensys, azienda vicentina che offre supporto per la progettazione e la produzione di prodotti elettronici. Nebes si inserisce in un piano di sostenibilità ambientale sempre più ampio, proponendosi come risposta alle attuali sfide di mercato tramite soluzioni eco-sostenibili che riducano l'impatto ambientale sia dei prodotti che dei processi aziendali. Questo è possibile attraverso il potenziamento di “NewOmApp”, l’applicazione che monitora, tramite un sistema cloud di gestione chiamato Nebula, tutti i parametri di funzionamento delle macchine.

La collaborazione con l'Università di Trento permetterà di sviluppare algoritmi intelligenti in grado di consentire il monitoraggio e la gestione dei livelli energetici delle apparecchiature collegate riducendo i consumi. L’innovazione di Hydrocell, azienda altoatesina fondata da esperti con un know-how ventennale nel campo dell’energia rinnovabile, sta proprio nel riuscire a mettere a fattor comune sistemi di propulsione dalle differenti peculiarità. Modularità e adattabilità, una risposta unica per domande differenti
Il mercato dei propulsori a idrogeno è altamente diversificato. La soluzione proposta da Hydrocell è capace di adattarsi a ogni tipologia di propulsore, essendo modulare e integrabile. Il refitting del peschereccio
Per toccare con mano le potenzialità di Hydrocell è in corso un progetto che sarà presentato al Salone Nautico di Venezia (29 maggio – 2 giugno 2024): il refitting del peschereccio Nobody’s Perfect, imbarcazione lunga 17 metri, costruita nel 1978 a Bordeaux. Nobody’s Perfect ospiterà il primo propulsore a idrogeno gestito dalla centralina di controllo ideata da Hydrocell. Un progetto, finanziato dai soci fondatori, che punta a vedere la nuova versione del peschereccio salpare da Venezia in occasione del Salone Nautico del 2025.
I tre founder
A fondare Hydrocell tre imprenditori con una lunga esperienza. Ceo dell’azienda è Karl Manfredi, per anni CEO di Brennercom, esperto di management, TLC, IT e cloud computing. Presidente è Federico Giudiceandrea, ingegnere elettronico, founder di TTControl, comproprietario di Microtec, di Classic Boat Venice, esperto di elettronica industriale e già presidente di Assoimprenditori Alto Adige.
